Sculptures on the Square Opening Celebration

Join Troy Main Street’s Sculptures on the Square committee as we kick off the 11th biennial Sculptures on the Square Exhibit! This year’s theme is Wind and Water and will feature sculptures from around the U.S. that exemplify the theme. Join us on Friday, June 16th for the opening celebration and a chance to meet some of the artists!

First Friday: Family Fun on the Boardwalk

July 7

Spend your Friday evening in downtown Troy with local non-profit agencies! On the First Friday of each month, downtown businesses will be open late so you can spend your evening locally. Grab a bite to eat, shop with your favorite small businesses, and join in the fun as our local nonprofits set up giant yard games and minute to win it games to play downtown.

Plein Air Event

Join us downtown for our Plein Air Event! Plein Air means “out of doors” in French, and in art, refers to artists who paint outside landscapes, architecture, etc. Spend your Saturday in downtown Troy shopping, dining, and taking in the work of these amazing artists as they paint the scenes of downtown Troy. The day will end with a sale of the completed works of art.

Donut Jam featuring Zack Attack!

Join Troy Main Street downtown on Friday evening to listen to local bands, sip local beer, and participate in family-friendly activities as we gear up for the Tour De Donut Bicycle Race happening on Saturday. This is a fun-filled event in downtown Troy that you don’t want to miss!

Chocolate Walk

Troy Main Street is excited to announce the seventh annual Chocolate Walk! Downtown stores offer chocolate truffles, cakes, hot cocoa, and more. While many chocolate items are edible, some are chocolate scented while others are chocolate-themed. This is a ticketed event. Tickets will be available for purchase before the event, Ticket sales will be announced on the Troy Main Street Facebook page.

First Friday: Adopt a Shelter Pet Night

Hometown Halloween

Join us downtown for Hometown Halloween where you can enter a costume contest and go trick or treating with our merchants! Festivities will begin with a costume contest and costume parade hosted by the Troy Noon Optimists in the parking lot of the Hobart Government building. Then, beginning at 10AM, participants will be able to trick or treat with downtown merchants. We hope to see you there!

Join us downtown for Troy Main Street’s annual lighting of the Christmas Tree! This is a fun-filled evening full of hot cocoa, horse-drawn carriage rides, cider, and the arrival of Santa Claus! Once Santa has arrived and the tree has been lit, Santa will be available for visits in the Santa House located on Prouty Plaza! More specific details will be posted about this event later in the year.
