One Dough Three Cookies: Easy Holiday Baking Recipe

I find the Anything Goes Cookie Dough recipe is the ONLY cookie recipe which is no fail. Seriously. This recipe turns out soft and chewy every single time.

It is simple to #BakewithHeart and gift with love this holiday season using Becel Buttery Taste margarine and customizable Anything Goes Cookie Dough. Put finished cookies in a tin as a homemade hostess gift. Or bring them to the office holiday party. Or wrap them in parchment paper and ribbon for a neighbour. Or even have your kids write the recipe (in their own handwriting) and layer the dry ingredients in a mason jar to gift to their teacher.

And do what I do — make a double batch and freeze half in an airtight container. That way you have homemade cookies on hand for drop-by guests, and you bake now, when it’s a pleasure, rather than bake the night before Christmas when you are stressed and frantically prepping for holiday guests. (Stressed baking is never good baking).

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375°F (190° C). Combine flour, baking soda and salt in medium bowl; set aside.

Beat Becel Buttery Taste margarine with sugars in large bowl. Beat in eggs and vanilla until blended. Gradually add in flour mixture; beat just until blended. Add your choice of mix-ins (e.g. chocolate chips, dried fruit, seeds, toffee bits, etc.). Drop by tablespoonfuls on ungreased baking sheets, 2-in. (5 cm) apart.

Bake 7 minutes or until edges are golden. Cool 2 minutes on wire rack; remove cookies from sheets and cool completely.

Becel helps Canadians #BakewithHeart and Gift with Love this holiday season, offering a single, customizable recipe that guarantees soft & chewy cookies for the ones you love. It’s easy to make multiple varieties of cookies at once with Becel’s expert-tested Anything Goes Cookie Dough simply by splitting it and adding your favourite mix-ins. But your baking needn’t end there. Becel margarine can replace butter 1:1 in any of your favourite holiday baking recipes for an alternative with 80% less saturated fat, and is ready to use straight from the fridge (I use it for everything — from scones to cakes).
